Samantha Lyn

For my future career I aspire to become a labor and delivery nurse. Then while working as a nurse, I will continue my education to receive my MSU then eventually a nurse practitioner. I will obtain all of this education through Western Carolina University. I want to thank the Menís Club for the financial assistance to help me reach these goals.

Chance

I will be attending East Carolina for pre-med to eventually become a medical doctor. I am thinking about many different areas with being a medical doctor. My family have been through many hard times and I want to make something of myself and help my family become better with the help of my career choice.

Nathan

I will be graduating from East Burke High School as an Honor Graduate, NC Scholar and as a Presidential Scholar, as well.  While at East Burke, Iíve participated in a plethora of activities. Iíve been in band for four years, Iíve participated in the All County band clinic every year (which requires an audition).  The Quiz Bowl, FCA, Interact Club, and Iíve also taken several AP classes as well. Because of my philomathic  tendencies, Iíve always loved learning, and thatís why I will either be attending WPCC or LRU this fall, as I try to decide the path that is best for me.

Marlee

I am an East Burke graduate. As a Cavalier, I played tennis and varsity soccer. I was also involved in NHS, Spanish Club and served as an East Burke band drum major. I will be starting the next chapter of my life at NCSU with an intended major in nuclear engineering.
